        This site is dedicated to helping parents that struggle with parenting troubled teens. At risk children require attention from parents that understand the issues they are going through. Many times parents find it difficult to relate to a child that is struggling with teen issues. Parenting in our current society puts a demand on providing for the family in all aspects such as emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially. Parents often find the problems of today some what difficult in comparison to the way things were when they were growing up. Youth are struggling with drug abuse, depression, ADD, ADHD, defiance, conduct disorder, and other issues that define them as troubled teens. With divorce as a rising concern for families that are already struggling with parenting troubled teens, the question is often asked, "Who can I turn to for help?"

        Parenting troubled teens in this day and age has become more and more difficult. The more socially accepted things today are things that were considered radical 10-20 years ago. Our minds seem to become conditioned to accept things that used to be somewhat outragious. With this acceptance, when parenting a troubled teen, many of us as parents may find justification in the social norm for why our children are troubled and struggling.
